The Ottawa Little Theatre (OLT) - formerly known as the Ottawa Drama League (ODL) - was founded in May 1913 at a meeting of the Canadian Federation of University Women. It is the longest-running community theatre company in Canada.

During 2013-2017, the Ottawa Little Theatre underwent a renewal with the building having major renovations to both the exterior and interior spaces.

RMA+SH was engaged to redesign the façade in a pulsating colour palette which captures the vibrant nature of this long-standing community institution. In addition, improved accessibility access makes the theatre experience more comfortable for patrons.
